2Face, 9ice, Dammy Krane, Tunde And Wunmi Obe Switch Style With T.W.O. Plus

The first couple of Nigeria’s music industry, Tunde and Wunmi Obe aka T.W.O. have announced the launch of their first studio album in four years called T.W.O Plus. This is the fifth studio album from the duo who started off as a double act more than 25 years ago.

T.W.O Plus, in an exciting departure from previous albums features production from important industry names like Samklef, Papi J, B. Jay Productions and DelB, as well as guest appearances from a mixture of legacy and contemporary artistes like 2Face, Segun Obe, Dammy Krane, Floss and Brace. This creates a delightfully unique medley of sound, which is both evergreen and modern.

Speaking on the new album, Tunde Obe had this to say, “We have put four years of hard work into this album and we couldn’t be happier with how it has turned out. I think we even surprised ourselves with how well it came out. We had this idea that we would link the so-called ‘Old School’ with the contemporary without losing our core musical essence or diluting our message and social consciousness. We wanted to prove that this could be done and that it would sound like nothing ever heard before. We succeeded beyond our own wildest imaginations and here we are!”

T.W.O Plus is marketed by Ugo Best Global Ent., and will be available on the streets, all major online music retailers as well as selected stores.
