Hip-hop world awards here again! As the fourth edition of the Hip-hop awards draw near, the organisers are here and there trying to make it a memorable one.
The annual yellow carpet event is scheduled for May and for the first time in the history of the event, the awards will be hosted at Abuja and it promises to be real big, showcasing real glamour, style, fashion and celebrating the very best in the African Hip-hop industry.
Over the years, the awards has been an avenue to see your favourites artistes being nominated and awarded. Since its 2006 debut which held at the Muson Centre Onikan, it has become the biggest award in Africa.
The 2007 edition was also held at the same venue with the first. It was bigger and better .kudos to HipHop world for not disappointing its fans and friends.
The 2008 edition which was in march 15 was at Planet one, Maryland .it was held in its usual grand style with artistes like Asa, 9ice, Wande Coal and a host of others being awarded and a whole lot of stage performances by Kween, Rugged Man and P-Square who brought the show to a climax with their usual putting everyone on the edges of their seats performance.
The same will apply for this year as everyone knows what to expect at HipHop World Awards, which will be held at the International Conference Centre at Abuja, and it promises to be bigger and exciting than ever before.
The event is scheduled for May 16, 2009 and will be supported by Mtn, Unilever, Hip on TV, Digi print and a host of others.
