When he first hit our screens with his video ‘Ndoli Ndoli’, a lot of people thought he was just a flash in the pan, but when he released two other videos ‘H Man Party and Scared of Love’, it became clear to many that the Igbenedion University graduate meant business.
And now, the singer is set to release his first effort into the Nigerian music scene. The 12 tracker album which will hit the stores on April 15, 2009 will feature acts like 9ice, K solo, ID Cabasa and MI. ‘it has been a long time coming, I have been doing music for a while, even though it has not been mainstream, because I had to slow things down when I was studying Accounting at the University. I’m so excited that now I have an album to show’ he says.

Titled Ndoli Ndoli, the album was preceded by a string of singles and five videos before it finally hit the stores. Ndoli Ndoli- The first single off his debut album was released in August 2008 as a fore runner for the album, but before we could blink our eyes, he played a fast one on us in October 2008 with ‘Scared of love’ and ‘H man Party’, then as if that was not enough, he hit us with ‘Thank you’ in March 2009. And then in April 2009, he is ready with a video for the last single ‘Uwadiwe’ and the album itself.
The new video for Uwadiwe which was conceptualized by Clarence Peters shows Hman’s discontent about what is happening in the country. H man says ‘my friends call me Crusader, and this is because when I sing, I say whatever it is that is on my mind without mincing words, and it is evident in all my songs, from ‘Ndoli Ndoli’ to ‘Scared of love’, all the way to ‘Thank You’, and ‘Uwadiwe’. I don’t believe in just singing about girls and clubs, there has to be a message’
Born Humphrey Okeke into a Catholic family of eight children, H man started on the journey into being a singer as a member of the school choir while in St. Bridget College and from then the passion has been a part of him even till now.
He first hit lime light in August 2008 with Ndoli Ndoli- a song that won him the awards for the best contemporary Afro music video at the 2008 edition of the Nigerian music video Awards. He is however not relenting in his efforts in creating and impact in the Nigerian music industry. His style of music is however very unique which is why some people call him the crusader.
The 12 tracker album which will be distributed by UBA pacific music and Obaino music was produced by Id Cabasa, J sleek and K Solo
Can you upload his video on here, good one you've got here.
