Nickelodeon is coming to Nigeria via STV!
Thanks to a new content deal with MTV Networks Africa, STV is significantly upgrading its offer for kids, tweens and teens by bringing quality programming from iconic TV brand Nickelodeon to television viewers throughout Nigeria.
Starting from July 16 2010 viewers in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Benin, Awka and Jos will now be able to tune in to a daily dose of world-class kids’ TV - sourced from kids’ entertainment powerhouse, Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon will become a daily routine on STV; featuring for an hour every day Monday to Friday after-school between 4 pm and 5 pm. At the weekends, Nickelodeon will air between 8 am and 9 am.

Nickelodeon blocks on Silverbird Television will be jam-packed with fun, animated and live action programming for the 2 to 15 age group, all characterised by distinctive kids-centric point of view.
Key shows at launch will include pre-school favorite Dora the Explorer, comic epic adventure series Avatar and SpongeBob Square Pants, the global undersea entertainment phenomenon that has captured hearts around the world. Other programmes at launch will include CGI animated adventure Back to the Barnyard
