As part of plans to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her hair care outfit, entertainer Wunmi Obe has launched a new state-of-the-art
salon.
The singer-songwriter-talker who founded Hair Afrique in year 2000,
invited select friends and clients to the new hair studios last
weekend, for an evening of champagne and small chops. Guests included
Chief (Mrs) Nike Akande, Susan Eyo Honesty, Funke Kuti, Ayeni
Adekunle, Desola Bakare and her husband Tunde Obe.
Situated inside Marwa Gardens in Lagos, Hair Afrique boasts of the
best minds and brains in the industry, as well as latest grooming and
styling equipment.
Concerned about the privacy of her clients, Obe says Hair Afrique has
private consulting rooms, and a confidentiality policy.
'We also have an international consultant working with us to make sure
our service is world class. Women don't joke about their hair needs,
and we understand that. That's why we're going the extra mile to make
sure we satisfy our old and new customers.
'This is one of my biggest passions. And to have been able to remain
around and relevant, 10 years after, is a blessing I appreciate.
