MTV Shuga has released promo shots of the casts of the new season of Shuga, which will premiere on World AIDS Day, December 1st, 2013.
The shoot which was handled by top Nigerian photographer, Kelechi Obi-Amadi was held at the Protea Hotel, Ikoyi, Westwood, Lagos and also features the first official images of theShuga cast and director, Biyi Bandele.
The exciting sex-and-relationships drama, currently shooting in Lagos will feature a stellar cast including Maria Okanrende, Tiwa Savage, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Okezie Morro, Chris Attoh, Emmanuel Ikubese and Nick Mutuma. Other key cast members include: Sharon Chisom Ezeamaka, James Timini Egbuson, Kachi Nnochiri, Leonora Okine and Olumide Oworu.
Additions to the Shuga cast include Ugbeye Owumi, Sani Mu’azu, Bikiya Graham-Douglas,KC Ejelonu, Efa Iwara, Hip hop artist Don Flexy, MTV Base VJ Ehis Okoeguale, Silo Emem Bankole and Charles Ukpong.
Two more slots for Shuga are still open with three males and three females competing for a coveted role in the prestigious drama. In the running are 26 year old student Bukky Babalola(Hills and the Valleys, Accident), 27 year old Nnenna Udeh (Tinsel), 21 year old Olatimehim Blessing (Lady Gaga); 26 year old Duke Elvis (The Johnsons, Murder at Prime Suite, The Chief Servant, Time of Our Lives, Man in the Mirror), 28 year old Lekan Olofinji (Man in the Mirror, Her Proposal) and 24 year old Aigbodion Izien (Echoes, Last 3 Digits).
