Judges Verdict: Abuja’s Got Talent!

- Hopefuls Stun Judges with Mesmerizing Dance Steps and more

It was an exciting experience to behold, as the Federal Capital Territory played host, for the second year running, to Nigeria’s Got Talent auditions at Bolton White Hotel, Abuja.
Aspiring contestants were seen trooping into the venue of the auditions as early as 6am with many of the hopefuls coming in from neighboring cities in Kaduna, Plateau, Niger and other states.
The first phase of the audition attracted a lot of uniquely talented individuals and groups ranging from singers, rappers, dancers, actors and many more; all in the quest to showcase their enormous talents.
Defying the heavy downpour, eager contestants were seen waiting anxiously to be selected as the audition process proved swift and meticulous.
“I’m here to show the world what I have inside. I can sing, act and also dance. I have many talents and I believe I am the ‘chosen one’ for this year’s Nigeria’s Got Talent,” says Chosen, one of the contestants.
“The violin is an instrument that has helped me through a lot of stress, pain and hard times. The violin is my voice…this is how I choose to make a living and a name for myself,“ enthuses Azuka, another hopeful.
A number of the talents left the judges in awe, mesmerizing them with their electrifying dance steps and unique voices.
“As expected, Abuja did not fail to disappoint us. The talents harvested from Abuja were amazing and with this we can only anticipate what the other seven states have to offer,” says Adaora Mbelu, project manager of Nigeria’s Got Talent Season 2.

The Nigeria’s Got Talent train moves to Calabar on 12th of October, 2013. The second audition in the series will hold at Mounty Suites, off Muritala Mohamed High Way Esuk Utan, Calabar, Akwa Ibom State.
