With 6
spots filled in the Top 12 and 6 more to go, Africa’s biggest music talent show
is gearing towards a sensational Top 12 unveil.
Lisa,
Elvis Jay, Jesse Ray, Nex2, Ms Oge and Xolani are the six contestants in the
Top 12 so far and 6 spots are left to be occupied.
With the
last group of 10 contestants performing over the weekend, only 3 of these acts
will make it into the Top 12. Performing love songs as well as old school
melodies, the 10 contestants gave their all for an opportunity to win the heart
of the judges as well as votes of fans.
“This has
been the most prepared group so far,” said an impressed Dede. ‘Though we had
some who didn’t meet our expectation, a good number of them deserve a pat on
the back,” he added.
