Former rapper and record label exec, Lanre Dabiri has again stated that his decision to leave the music scene was permanent.
He wrote on Twitter, recently ‘I told y’all ‘Undeniable’ was my last studio album before it dropped #IwasntJoking’ when a fan, @Alashine asked ‘Has eLDee retired? I didn’t get that memo’.
eLDee tha Don, as he is fondly called in some quarters, is popular for being the brain behind the defunct Trybesmen group which had rappers Sasha, KB, Freestyle and others together with whom the popular track, 'Shake Body' was made.
His debut album Long Time Coming was released in 2004 which was followed by Return of the King, Big Boy, Is It Your Money all of which were released in two years interval.
His Trybes Records once had rapper Eva Alordiah, K9 and Aramide as acts.
