Every year at The Headies, one fast rising act in the Nigerian music industry is presented with the Next Rated Award, a category generally considered as being an acknowledgement of an artiste's breakthrough into the elite group of Nigerian music stars.
The Next Rated category is also very special as it comes with the prize of a brand new car alongside the much coveted golden Headie.
Last year's winner, Patoranking recently visited the Smooth Promotions office to receive his car prize which was presented to him by the 2013 Next Rated winner, Sean Tizzle.
