From all indications, the jury for the Fayrouz L’Original Express ion Show Season 2 audition are quite impressed, as it seems like the University of Lagos participants have proven to be extraordinarily talented.
Multipurpose
hall C, the venue of the event is currently packed full with excited
students and Youth corps members from within and outside the campus, all
of who are excited to fascinate the judges with their creative prowess.
For
the Lagos auditions, the Fayrouz L'Original creative team have tasked
the contestants to come up with fashion creativity in line with the
theme 'Pop of Colours'.
The jury comprising celebrated photographer, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Rhema Akabuogu of House Of Tara and fashion experts, Mai Atafo and Kunbi Oyelese have expressed their experience thus far.
‘Everybody knows Unilag to be a haven of talent and my colleagues and i have been impressed so far ’ an excited Rhema said when asked about the ongoing Lagos auditions.
Mercy Ajuka, one of the participants in attendance shared hopes at a positive result .
According to her, the theme pop of colours is a very exciting one that
allows room for unlimited creativity and qualifying for the semi final
stage will be a dream come true for her and her team.
‘To
be honest, I am proud of how far my colleagues and myself have gone on
this. We did all we could in the shortest time possible and it came out
nice. I hope the judges liked it and pass us to the next stage because
this means a lot to us’ .
Selected
teams will compete with winners of other regions at the semifinal stage
of the competition billed to hold at Obudu Cattle ranch, Calabar later
this month.
The competition is an original platform by natural premium soft drink, Fayrouz.
It places emphasis on creativity and originality as expressed in the
art of fashion design, make up artistry, photography and modelling.
