… As Classic Fm Unveils New Programme Line-Up
Popular presenter, Dan Foster has joined Nigeria’s foremost broadcast station, Classic FM. He will be joining a couple of other A-list presenters like Elvina Ibru, Buki Sawyerr, Sola Mogaji (Schullz), Chico Aligwekwe, Ifeanyi, Lawrence, Bukola and Yinka.
This comes at a time that, Classic FM is strategically looking to have a refreshed stance, as it will be unveiling a new programme line-up.
Management of Classic FM, have disclosed that the new and unique programme line up is geared towards exploiting new areas of coverage, creating in-house segments that are suitable for support.
The high-energy morning drive show, The Classic Morning Show which will now be hosted by Dan Foster and Bukola Ogunrinde between 6.00 am -10.00am.
The daily schedule also includes new assignments for all the Presenters. Buki Sawyerr-Izeogu and Yinka Oretuga will now be hosting The Classic Lounge(10.00 am - 2.00pm). Sola Mogaji who used to partner with Buki on the mid day show will now be hosting The Classic Vibe alongside Ifeanyi Attamah between2.00 pm - 6.00 pm.
Chico Aligwekwe, the station’s programme manager will be hosting The Drive Time Show which targets the station’s strong audience in the evening. Elvina Ibru will be holding down The Mellow Magic Show between 10.00 pm - 1.00 am while Lawrence Nwali will be on Nocturnal Classics from 1.00 am - 6.00 am.
Speaking on the new development, General Manager, Deji Awokoya said,
"We’re genuinely happy to have Dan Foster onboard especially at a time where we’re repositioning the station’s outlook. This is indeed a big move and we’re excited to have Dan’s awesome skills at the station.” We are, through this change, also solidifying our hold on our audience by freshening the sound of the station and enhancing listener experience”.
Dan Foster’s move to Classic FM makes it his 4th, since his radio career debuted in Nigeria in the year 2000. Classic FM is a part of Megalectrics Limited.
