Photos: Who Rocked Better? See Chidinma And Kay Switch At Hennessy Artistry Club Tour

Lagos witnessed one of the biggest parties last weekend as popular songstress, Chidinma and the Sister Caro hit maker, Kay Switch shut down club DV8 in Victoria Island, Lagos for another edition of the Hennessy Artistry club tour.

The event, which held on Saturday, August 31, 2013, had guests taking exciting photos on the band-set designed carpet before mingling with their favorite stars who came to show support to Hennessy Artistry.

Hosted by Jimmy of The Beat 99.9 FM, guests were treated to pulsating performances from Chidinma who performed the hit tracks, Kedike and Emi Ni Baller. Kay Switch later brought the roof down with his performance. DJ Neptune was also on ground to thrill guests with an amazing blend of Nigerian music.

2013 appears to be Chidinma's busiest year yet. A few months after winning Best West Africa female act at the KORA awards, the gorgeous singer has also been appointed an MTN ambassador. Her exciting video for the monster track, “E Mi Ni Baller”, clinches this week's top spot on Official Naija Top 10 on MTV Base.

With hit tracks like Sister Caro, DKB Records signee, Kay Switch has also carved a niche for himself in the Nigerian music scene and has been profiled as one of the more promising pop stars to come out of 2013.

Guests in attendance include Yemi Sax, PRE, Special Ed among others.

Next stop this Weekend. The Hennessy Artistry train moves to Likwid Lounge on Friday, September 6th and will feature Show Dem Camp and Olamide. The train later moves to Abuja on Saturday and will have performances from Chidinma, Vector and Phyno.

Hennessy Artistry 2013 headliner, Dbanj will make his second club appearance later this month in Lagos before heading to Abuja.

Since Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007, the platform has since evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a DJ battle, and is now an important platform for experimental collaborations between multi-talented artistes. Previous participating entertainers include Ice Prince, Nneka, MI, Naeto C, Sir Shina Peters, Banky W, Eldee, Tiwa Savage, Jesse Jagz, Bez, Mo’Cheddah among others.
