MAY D’s ‘ILE IJO’ RAISES THE ROOF AT LAGOS CONCERT

Fans who came out in their numbers last weekend to see Mayokun Awodumila better known as May D perform, were not disappointed, as the talented Yoruba-born singer delivered a stellar performance as part of the exciting line up of activities at the Star Beer Village.

Highly anticipated, May D’s act was the highlight of the show with many music buffs milling around the venue hours before its opening hoping to catch a glimpse of the gifted and fast rising star.

Donning a bright red jacket with black pants and backed up by his athletic dancers, May D gave the crowd a music treat in its best form for almost 20 minutes performing ‘Ile Ijo’, ‘Gat Me High’, ‘Ur Eyes’ and a number of other songs for the appreciative crowd.

His performance, too brief in the opinion of his fans was capped off with his massively popular hit, ‘So Many Tinz’.

The STAR Beer Village holding at Lagos Countdown Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island, Lagos is part of an exciting line up of activities created by premium beer brand, STAR to countdown to the new year with her teeming consumers.

The beer village was officially flagged off on December 8^th 2013 and in just two weeks has become Lagos city’s most popular tourist melting point with hundreds of foreign nationals also partaking in the festivities everyday.

It officially closes on December 29, 2013.
