Photos: Over 200,000 Lagosians Gather To Celebrate 2014 Lagos Countdown with Star lager beer

Over 200,000 Lagosians were treated to great entertainment, fun and excitement at the Lagos Countdown powered by Star Beer on December 31st 2014, which held at Eko Atlantic City, VI Lagos.

Lagos Countdown Grand Finale had a series of thrilling musical performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest names such as 2face, D’banj, Wizkid, MI, Seyi Shay and many more.  A massive firework display also lit up the Eko Atlantic skyline for almost an hour with impressive configurations.

Star beer, Nigeria’s leading lager, is the title sponsor for Lagos countdown for the third year running.

This world-class celebration was well attended by top dignitaries in Lagos state government as well as Lagosians who trouped in en-masse to celebrate and countdown to a New Year.

Guests present at the event include Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Fashola, Oba of Lagos Riliwan Akiolu, MD Nigerian Breweries Plc Nicholas Vervelde, Corporate Affairs Adviser Nigerian Breweries Plc, Kufre Ekanem,  Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola amongst others.
