Davido Throws Wizkid Off Second Place On MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten

…As Tilla Gives Freestyle Performance With VJ Ehiz

Over the past four weeks, the countdown has encountered a constant struggle for the number one spot between Wizkid’s ‘Ojuelegba’ and Kiss Daniel’s ‘Woju’. This week finally sees the end of this tussle as ‘Ojuelegba’ falls one place to number three. Replaced by Davido’s ‘The Sound’ featuring Uhuru and DJ Buckz at number two, Kiss Daniel continues to top the chart with his club banging mega hit ‘Woju’.

This week’s episode of the Official Naija Top Ten witnesses an unusual collaboration between host VJ Ehiz and studio guest, Tilla as the Afropop artiste belted out a foot tapping freestyle to the instrumental of Lil Kesh’s ‘Shoki’.

Tilla’s recent rise has received more recognition and in addition to co-hosting the ONTT, his new single, ‘Mawobe’ also made its debut on the chart coming in at number six.

Orezi’s ‘Shuperu’ and Banky W’s ‘Unborn Child’ retain last week’s position as number four and five respectively while DJ Jimmy Jatt’s ‘Glasses Up’ featuring Burna Boy, 2Face and Sound Sultan rises one place to number seven.

The week’s other new entrants are Kcee’s colourful ‘Turn By Turn’ and Flavour’s ‘Ololufe’ featuring Chidinma coming in at number 10 and number eight respectively. The ‘Hit Or Miss’ track for this week is ‘Love You Pieces’ by Emekus.
