Baba Dee Returns To TV

RETURNEE dancehall act Baba Dee is still working on his fourth album, but he has found time to rekindle his romance with television. The theatre arts graduate of the university of ibadan has patnered a production company April Ventures to recreate his popular nineties music programme, The Show TV.

Before he left for sweden, Baba Dee produced and presented The Show on MITV for years. he also acted in several soap operas while waiting for a break in his music career.

And now as he rounds up work on his album, he's also rounding up preliminary work on the new TV show, expected to hit our screens next quarter.

''We've repackaged the whole concept and i'm really excited about the project'', he told e-Punch on phone.

Unlike early editions, the new programme will not have a presenter.And naw segments have been added.

Lau lau, the new single of his upcoming album is already catching on, and he told e-Punch the full album will be available from march.
