“Fire Of Zamani” the highly anticipated sophomore album, from international multi-award winning Chocolate City rapper Ice Prince will be released globally on Monday, October 28th, 2013.
The album launch is scheduled to hold at an elaborate concert at Eko Hotel & Suites on November 23rd, 2013 and promises to be a spectacular offering from the popular rap star.
Fans may have waited a bit longer for this one as the release date was moved from September 7 to October 28 with profuse apologies via Ice Prince' Twitter handle.
The 2013 BET Best African Act Award winner assured Nigerian music fans that this would be worth the wait as there are lots of surprises in this album.
In his words, “My fans should expect art, that is what I call my album, pure art”. Hits like “Aboki”, “More” and “VIP” are also slated for this cut.
Fire of Zamani features some of the hottest names in the music industry as guest artistes from Nigeria’s Sunny Neji, Sound Sultan, MI, Jesse Jagz, Wizkid, Jeremiah Gyang to foreign collaborations with Chipmunk, Wale and French Montana.
Notable producers like Don Jazzy, Chopstix, Sammy Gyang, Sarz, E Kelly, Jay Sleek and MI also produced various tracks on the album.
Ice Prince similarly tells his fans to watch out for the Fire of Zamani clothing line, which will be launched alongside the second album. The clothing line includes accessories like earphones; sunglasses, bracelets and the signature FOZ hooded sweatshirts.
Ice Prince, born Panshak Zamani is signed to the Chocolate City music label. He released his debut album, “Everybody Loves Ice Prince” under the same label. He was also behind the hit single “Oleku’ that topped charts and rocked airwaves in 2010. Earlier this year, Ice Prince concluded a very successful North American tour. He also won the 2013 BET Award for Best African Act.
