‘Star The Winner Is’ Delivers Unbeatable Thrill On Episode 7!

It was indeed a night of thrill and excitement on Nigeria’s first ever music game show ‘Star The Winner Is’ with contestants on episode 7 bringing to the table all the vocal skills all in an attempt to move a step closer to life-changing grand prize of 10million naira and a brand new car.

Contestants, Kelvin James, Blessing James, Damilare Anifowoshe, Roxy Oni, Ifu Ennada and Dehinde Okubajo with a fascinating mixture of musical genres, did absolute justice to performances, giving the jury members a very difficult task of deciding winners in every round.

After all self-belief and confidence of all six contestants were put to test, Roxy Oni, emerged victorious amongst all putting her a few steps closer to wining 10million Naira and a brand new car.

23year old Oni Roxy proved how much she deserved to wear the winning crown of the night after she beat Fuji contestant, Damilare Anifowoshe to get fast tracked to the final round of the episode with a whooping score of 95-6 votes from the 101- jury members.

With a mesmerizing performance of ‘I will survive’ by Gloria Gaynor, Roxy Oni stole the show beating her opponent in the final round Dehinde Okubajo who proved to be a strong contender and who also went home empty handed.

Highlight of the night was an unusual performance from Fuji Contestant, Damilare who delivered a remix of Gongo Aso by 9ce to the utmost delight of the audience.

The exciting thrill and suspense from episode 7 continues in similar fashion of the previous episodes as the highly anticipated semifinal rounds draws close.

Winning the episode makes Roxy Oni the 7^th contestant to qualify for the semifinal round, joining Philip, Brenda, Happiness, Naomi, Rhema and Jahtell.
