Flop Of The Day: Chelsea Fans Lose Flat To Barca Fans On This Week’s Star Football Superfans Show

If the fourth episode of Star Football SuperFans is anything to go by, the success of Chelsea FC against FC Barcelona is yet to rub off on their fans even when N1 million and the bragging rights of Superfan or Superfans is at stake on Nigeria's biggest football gameshow powered by premium beer Star Lager.

One club that over the years has figured out how to get the better of Barcelona more often than not, is Chelsea. Sadly, a resounding reversal of this status quo was the case during this episode, which aired on Thursday and Friday on Africa Magic and AIT.

Barcelona FC fans, Joshua Iheanacho, Yusuf Olanrewaju, Monday Obazee, Nwana Alex and Chigozie Nwachukwu, who made up the Shining Stars team mercilessly thrashed Chelsea fans Chigbogu Paulinus, Agbowa Ugochukwu, Okwudili Okafor, Akinmosu Ibrahim and Owhofactor Esere of the Amazing Blues.

The game show had the two teams trying to outdo one another with their display of passion and knowledge. At the end of the 30 minutes, Shinning Stars won the competition, beating their rivals by a humiliating 4-0 scoreline. The victory fetched them a whopping sum of N1m while the Amazing Blues team go home with the consolation prize of N100, 000.
