Veteran photographer and one of the judges of
the Fayrouz L'Original Expression competition, Kelechi Amadi Obi displayed
another side of him during the Semi-Finale in Tinapa, Calabar.
Who knew the veteran photographer Kelechi Amadi
Obi could sing? Well, he definitely got some magical vocal chords as he serenades
his colleagues and guests as well with his voice.
After a hectic day spent tutoring and mentoring the Semi-Finalists of the Fayrouz L'Original Expression show 2 at the Tinapa Lakeside Hotel Calabar, Cross River state, Amadi hit the karaoke, singing popular songs of the reggae legend Bob Marley. He started off with the popular 80s sitcom 'New Masquerade' theme song, 'Eddie Quansah', then switched over to Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song'. This earned him a great applause and within minutes, others took his cue, displaying their vocal strength.
However, it was Amadi Obi that stole the evening away. Each time, he grabs the mic, everyone waited with sated breath to listen to his rendition of the songs. From 'Jamming' to 'No Woman No Cry'. Little wonder that he got backslaps, thumbs up and hugs from guests present at the lounge.
The #FayrouzLOriginal2 Semi Finale event holds tonight at the Entertainment Center Tinapa Lakeside Hotel, Calabar.
