It was a night of glitz and glamour at the Convention Center of Eko Hotel and Suites as guests who thronged the red carpet area of Darey’s Love Like A Movie concert came looking elegant and fabulous.
The event was graced by Nigerian female icons from different generations who glittered like a galaxy of stars on the red carpet.
Kim Kardashian who wore a black figure-hugging leather dress and a pair of black sandals was understandably the cynosure of all eyes while multi award winning artiste Tiwa Savage stepped out looking beautiful in a blue print dress.
The show was also for the young at heart as Yeye Oge of Lagos, Opral Benson, Nkiru Anumudu and Mo Abudu, also stepped out gracefully.
The men were also not left out as all of them stepped on the red carpet looking dapper. Darey, the man of the night looked suave in a black tux. Nollywood was also well represented with Ramsey Nouah , Chidi Mokeme, Emeka Ike, Segun Arinze, Charles Novia in attendance.
It was an eclectic mix of fashion as some guests also came out for the concert in laid back attires. People were spotted in pair of jeans and t-shirts, shorts and even native attires.
The beautiful costumes worn by artistes during the show also caught guests’ attention. Black jackets worn by Banky W, Praiz, Timi Dakolo and the silver and red jackets worn by Darey during performances were made by celebrity stylist, Remi Buttons .
It was a night of music, dance, arts and fashion. The night was wrapped up with Darey announcing Timi Dakolo and his wife, Busola the best dressed couple for the night.
“In fact there should have been hundreds of best dressed awards,” Darey jokingly acknowledged. “Our guests have come here so gorgeously dressed as usual, so it was a very difficult choice,” he added.
