Gulder unveils sleek new website for registration page Gulder Ultimate Search

Gulder, a leading lager brand from the stables of Nigerian Breweries,
has just launched the 11th edition of its world-famous physical contest show Gulder Ultimate Search with a sleek new GUI. Without a doubt, this new installment into the series has transformed the site into a masterpiece of vibrant and animated visuals.

This year the innovations and high production value extended beyond the specially developed TVC to the show’s registration page. The simple and yet stunning graphics really brought to life this season’s inspired theme- ‘The Mission’. See here

So, they got the graphics right, what else makes this site so great? It’s very easy to use.

You don’t need a special degree to figure out this process. It is simple and straight forward enough from start to finish. I appreciate that it was developed with a feature that allowed you to stop and continue from where you left off (a bit necessary when I got to the part about uploading a photo).

The questions are divided into sections; each section features again, very striking imagery of a scroll (your questions appear on this), and avatars of who I believe are supposed to be the ‘council of elders’ (best illustration seen of them so far).

A lot of developers today focus on the front-end (after all that’s what they all see...), but when the site is up it’s almost immediately apparent (to me anyways) that the back-end coding suffered for all the action in the front. Not here.

A seamless transition from one page to the next, hitch free synchronization between text and imagery. I tested this out in mobile as well. It is just as good.

If this year’s challenge was to reinvent the Gulder Ultimate Search registration process with the aim of making it an exciting and immersive experience for registrants? Then surely they’ve nailed it.
