It was both an emotional and very exciting moment on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 as 19-year-old Esther Benyeogo was officially presented with the key to her brand new Kia Rio, as part of the grand prize she won at God's Children Great Talent Season 7.

The 200 level English and Literature undergraduate at the University of Benin beat 9 other talented contestants to claim the much coveted title in a very glamorous grand finale held at Eko Convention Centre last Saturday.

Esther could hardly contain her emotions. She heartily explained "I don't even know how to drive but have a brand new car".

This means a lot for a young girl who some weeks ago, took public transport from Warri to Port-Harcourt just to participate in #GCGT7 auditions. Following several incredible performances, Esther made it through the Port-Harcourt regional finals, boot camp, semi-finals before she emerged as GCGT Season 7 winner.

Along with the brand new car, she also bagged a 250 million Naira management contract and 10million Naira cash. Esther has now returned to continue her studies at the university.

How amazing is that?
