Naeto C, Tony One Week, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Sym 19, Others Turn Up The Heat At Club Ultimate Enugu


Superstar rapper Naeto C, comedian turned lawmaker Tony One Week, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade and fast rising rapper Sym 19 were some of the guests spotted at Enugu last weekend for the South eastern debut of Gulder Club Ultimate.

The Coal City came alive as thousands from neigbouring towns trooped to the Polo Park Mall to witness dazzling performances from four of Nigeria’s hottest DJ’s as well as local and international acts.

Darey Art Alade and Freeze of Cool FM compered the spectacular club event while the city’s finest radio presenters Tobe Dadiva in a chic all black ensemble and Lorenzo Menakaya in a one-of-a-kind suit glammed up the red carpet.

The two-day event started on a high note with Flavour’s Jazz band thrilling guests to live performances of popular local and foreign tracks. Their performance was followed by the indigenious Ikorodo dancers dressed in colourful traditional attires dancing to popular contemporary tracks from the DJ’s turntable.


World-class shows from amazing international acts including Cyrl Wheel, Flame Oz and Gandini Jugglers turned the fictional to reality at the event.

Club Ultimate, the famous urbane clubbing event, which hops from city to city, transformed the venue into a giant multi million-naira ultimate cruise liner. The exterior was customized with detailed elements of seashore, a walkway tunnel and stylish ushers in sailor uniforms.

Africa’s hottest disc jockeys DJ Neptune, DJ Caise, DJ Spinall and Big N on the famous GCU floating turntables spun back to back hit songs which included the likes of Wizkid’s Caro, Davido’s Aye and not forgetting the city’s very own favourite Phyno’s to the delight of the cheering crowds till day break.

Among the special guests in attendance were Enugu State Honourable Commissioner of Culture and Tourism in Enugu Mr. Joe Mamel, Honourable Tony ‘One Week’ Muonagor, Naeto C, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Sym 19 amongst other distinguished guests.
