Singer 9ice, his wife Toni and their baby Zion are presently holidaying in the United States.Sources close to the star singer told showbizplusmore the bestselling act, who only last week released the much-awaited VCD compilation for his second album Aso, left the country on Thursday July 2, aboard Delta Airlines for a three-week vacation that’ll end next week.
9ice has been working on materials for his new album ‘Tradition’, due for release later this year. And while in the US, it is expected he will also mix and master the full album.
‘‘I’m away for now. I’m out of the country. But I’ll be back next week’’, the singer said early this week, responded to showbizplusmore enquiries.
The family first stopped over in LA where Toni resides, before moving to New Jersey.
Meanwhile, 9ice’s right hand man and business manager, Oladehinde Fajana has reportedly broken down, following a hectic performance and recording schedule.
The rising talent manager, who’s been with 9ice long before success came calling, was taking into hospital last week, after he ‘‘broke down completely’’, according to a source.
The 30 year-old bachelor was admitted at St Luke hospital, Sabo-Yaba, few days after returning from Milan, Italy where he accompanied 9ice to honour a performance engagement.
‘‘I think I just need to rest’’, Fajana told showbizplusmore from the hospital early this week.
‘‘It’s not that bad, I still went out last Friday. I’m sure it’s the stress’’, he admitted.
